Payment & Payout Policy: Workers

How you earn points, how the platform pays you based on performance, and how weekly payouts work for workers on DailyJob.

1. How you earn points

You earn points from the platform, not from posters. When a poster approves your submission, the platform awards you points. Points measure your performance and task completion; they are not money. You are not paid per task. Credits and points are two separate systems, and no money moves between users. The platform pays workers; posters pay the platform.

2. How the platform pays you

Points measure your performance and task completion. They are not money. You are not paid per task. Once a week, on a day set by the platform, the platform pays you for your whole week's work. The platform decides the amount based on your performance. Your dashboard shows your expected payout amount for the week.

3. Weekly payout

Payouts run automatically once a week. You do not need to make a manual request. We pay to your verified bank account by IMPS or to your UPI ID through the payment gateway we use. The minimum payout balance is ₹50; if your balance is below that, it carries over until it clears the minimum. There is no payout fee.

4. Before your first payout

You must complete identity verification before your first payout, as set out in our KYC policy for workers. You also need to add a verified bank account or UPI ID at payout settings. The name on your payout account must match the name on your verified document.

5. Failed payouts

If a payout fails, we retry it automatically up to 3 times. If it keeps failing, your balance stays in your account and carries over to the next cycle. Failed payouts are usually caused by wrong bank or UPI details, so keep your payout settings up to date.

6. Holds

We may hold a payout while we investigate suspected fraud or a breach of our terms. We aim to resolve a hold within 30 days. If the investigation clears you, the held balance is paid out in the next weekly cycle.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn on DailyJob. We do not deduct or file taxes for you. You can see your full payout record, with dates and amounts, at your payouts for your own accounting.
